I am not one to ever review a product, leave feedback, or comment on anything purchased that is work related, however, today is the exception. Though this is a forum and not a feedback center, I am compelled to give my opinion as I am sure many of you are in the same position I was in - hesitant to buy a 'Doing Business in' report online.
After weeks of going back and forth to this site, and realizing that all information provided on the website is up to date, extremely helpful, and extremely difficult to find on the internet if it was not for this website (I google searched many topics without success); I decided to purchase a report - after all USD 1,000 is nothing compared to the USD 10,000 and USD 15,000 fee quotes I was receiving from the dominating Big 4 accounting firms.
Payment was completed through paypal, and a link provided to download the report. This took no more than 10 minutes to complete (again much shorter time compared to the 14 - 21 business days the Big 4 firms needed to deliver - after of course being properly engaged and contracts being sent back and forth).
The report received was professional, well written, and covered in detail the information I was looking for. I was more than impressed to say the least. The report was up to the same standard, even better than some reports my firm has previously engaged other 'international well renowned' companies to provide.
However, a small amount of doubt still remained, and I felt it was best to run the report by our legal counsel in Iraq for quick review. Our legal counsel came back within a week to confirm all information provided was correct and current from a legal perspective. Just to be 100% sure (didn't want to take the heat for upper management making any decisions based on incorrect information), I sent it to the one of the Big 4 firms for a quick review (I should mention they charged me USD 3,000 for this review!). About ten days later, I was informed that the report was correct and current, nothing was amended or added to the report.
This website will definitely help companies with a tight budget, as it provides you with everything you need at a fraction of the price of competing forms who prioritize profit and market share over client satisfaction!
If my firm decided to move forward with its plans to enter Iraq, I am sure a lot more reports will be bought from here! This site deserves recognition.
