What is going on with the government not accepting certified checks from banks in Baghdad?? i heard only three Gov. bank issued checks are accepted.. is this still the case? Which banks? Central bank of Iraq? Rafidain bank? and which other? |

Its is true, Iraq Government does no accept anymore private bank drafts for amounts over ID 25 million. we a have a problem to pay tax, gov.dues in Iraq on time, penalties are building up .I understand the banks accepted are only TBI, Rashid and Rafidain.
Hope this issue will be resolved soon, mean while looking for a solution, any suggestions ??

Doesnt look like it will be resolves any time soon, we've been experiencing this since November! Had to switch banks!
